Este sensor é adequado para detetar a fertilidade do solo. O mesmo pode ser alimentado com uma tensão entre os 5 e os 30V e tem um saída RS485. Pode detetar a temperatura do solo, a humidade, a condutividade eléctrica (CE) e o PH. Pode ainda ser usado com um Arduino UNO R3 e uma placa de expansão TTL para 485 para configurar e fazer rapidamente testes. O nível de proteção do sensor de solo é IP68, e é enchido a vácuo e selado com resina epóxi preta retardadora de chama. O material da sonda é feito de aço inoxidável 316, que é à prova de ferrugem, à prova de água, anti-corrosão, resistência à corrosão salina-alcalina e resistência à eletrólise a longo prazo. É mais afetada pelo teor de sal do solo. Este é um sensor pequeno e que pode ser enterrada no solo durante muito tempo.

Introduction

The soil sensor provides rapid access to soil temperature, humidity, electrical conductivity (EC), and pH data, facilitating optimal irrigation timing and quantity for plants, thereby ensuring the best growing environment. It accommodates a wide voltage power supply of 5-30V and transmits data via RS485, utilizing the reliable MODBUS-RTU protocol. The response of the soil sensor is swift, with stable and reliable output. Compatibility with Arduino UNO R3 and TTL to 485 expansion board allows for swift test environment setup.

The soil sensor boasts an IP68 protection level, vacuum-filled and sealed with black flame-retardant epoxy resin. The probe, crafted from 316 stainless steel, offers rust-proof, waterproof, anti-corrosion, salt-alkali corrosion resistance, and long-term electrolysis resistance properties. Its performance is influenced by the soil salt content. Compact in size, it can be buried in the soil for extended periods and is compatible with various soil types.

The soil sensor features an automatic temperature compensation function for conductivity, ensuring measurement accuracy regardless of environmental changes. Its applications span across agricultural irrigation, greenhouses, floriculture and vegetable farming, grassland pastures, rapid soil testing, plant cultivation, scientific experiments, grain storage, and the measurement of moisture content and temperature of various particulate matter.

Soil temperature and moisture directly influence plant growth and nutrient absorption. Soil electrical conductivity (EC) represents soil salinity, a crucial indicator of soil fertility and health. High soil salt content hinders water absorption by plants. Soil pH, or “soil reaction”, is an acid-base reaction of the soil solution, dependent on the concentration of hydrogen ions. It’s expressed by the pH value, with 7 being neutral, less than 7 acidic, and greater than 7 alkaline. Soil pH can generally be divided into the following levels:

5.5-6.5 acidic
