LIDAR SDM15 (ToF) Sensor de Distancia Laser (15m, UART, Supporting ROS & ROS2) - DFRobot SEN0588
Este LIDAR é um sensor de distancia laser baseado na tecnologia de tempo de voo (ToF). Este sensor, apesar de senser bastante pequeno, pode medir distancia entre 50cm e 15m, o que o torna bastante útil, quer seja a ser usado com drones, robots ou até mesmo deteção de obstaculos.

Introduction
The laser transmitter emits laser light at time t1. The laser collector collects the reflected laser distance at time t2 = (t2-t1)*light speed/2, because t2-t1 is the round-trip time from laser emission to reception.
SDM15 distance of 15 meters, making it capable of laser ranging in most indoor scenes.
Sampling frequency 10Hz~ 1800Hz adjustable.
It can resist the strong light environment of 60klux and realize high-frequency and high-precision distance measurement indoors and outdoors.
Fully compatible with ROS1 and ROS2 systems,providing two system SDK, and providing technical information.
The infrared linear array pulsed laser used in SDM15 can ensure the safety of humans and pets. Meets FDA Class 1 laser safety standards.
It weighs only 15 grams, making it easy to install. It consumes less than 0.5W .In scenarios where battery-powered or low power consumption is required, it provides stable, precise, and highly sensitive distance measurements. Can be used for applications such as altitude control and terrain following in unmanned drones, obstacle avoidance in robots, and smart home systems.
