The small-angle ultrasonic ranging sensor is a high-performance device that uses intelligent signal processing circuits and built-in high-precision algorithms to measure distances ranging from 25 to 800 cm. Featuring a small blind spot of 25 cm, a 15° field of view (FOV), high precision (±2 cm accuracy, 1 cm resolution), fast response (0.9 to 2.5 seconds), low power consumption (<10µA quiescent current, <15mA working current), and an IP67 protection level, this sensor is designed for various applications in challenging environments. It operates reliably within a temperature range of -15°C to 60°C, thanks to its onboard temperature compensation function. This sensor can be controlled using Arduino development board, and by following the wiring diagram and sample code provided in the tutorial, accurate distance measurements between the sensor and obstacles or liquids can be obtained. Ideal for smart manhole cover water level detection, reservoir water tank liquid level detection, and river water level detection.
Small Blind Area
With a minimum measurement distance of 25 cm, the sensor has an exceptionally small blind spot, allowing it to detect objects at very close range accurately.
Narrow Beam Angle (15° FOV)
The sensor features a 15° field of view (FOV), providing a small beam angle that is ideal for measuring obstacles in narrow and confined spaces. This narrow beam angle minimizes interference from surrounding objects, ensuring precise measurements.
High Precision and Fast Response
Equipped with high-precision algorithms and intelligent signal processing, the sensor delivers accurate measurements with a resolution of 1 cm. It also has a fast response time of 0.9 to 2.5 seconds, enabling real-time monitoring.

The sensor boasts an IP67 protection level, making it dustproof and waterproof. It also includes an onboard temperature compensation function that automatically corrects temperature deviations, ensuring stable performance in temperatures ranging from -15°C to 60°C.
