The TSL2561 Breakout Brightness Sensor is a sophisticated light sensor with responsiveness for most of the visible spectrum. The difference between the simplest sensors, the TSL2561 measures both infrared and visible light to better approximate the response of the human eye.
What is TSL256?
- It is an integrating sensor, it absorbs light for a predetermined period of time.
- It is able to measure small and large amounts of light alternating the integration time.
- Connect the TSL2561 directly to the I2C and it is able to drive a margin of light-pixels from 0.1 ~ 40k + Lux easily.
- In addition, the TSL12561 contains the integrated analog-to-digital (ADC) converters that integrate the diode photo fixes simultaneously.
- Requires a supply voltage of 3 V and a low supply current of 0.6 mA maximum.
