  • Atmega 16U2 replaces 8U2 (replaced by CH340).
  • More powerful RESET circuit.
  • Addition of SDA and SCL pins on the AREF pin and 2 new pins on the RESET pin, namely the IOREF pin, allowing the shields to adapt to the voltage of the card. In the future, the shields will be compatible with the 5v and 3.3v versions. The 2nd pin is not connected and is reserved for future updates.

Description

This Arduino Mega 2560 R3 is compatible with the original and the major diference is the CH340 USB comunication driver. This card has the same clock speed as the Arduino Uno, but is a real power due to the much larger memory and the number of pins more than doubled.

This Arduino is very popular and is very easy to program due to the built-in USB interface. With Arduino development software, your first program will already run in minutes.

This is the 3rd (most recent) revision with the following adjustments:
  • Atmega 16U2 replaces 8U2 (replaced by CH340).
  • More powerful RESET circuit.
  • Addition of SDA and SCL pins on the AREF pin and 2 new pins on the RESET pin, namely the IOREF pin, allowing the shields to adapt to the voltage of the card. In the future, the shields will be compatible with the 5v and 3.3v versions. The 2nd pin is not connected and is reserved for future updates.

This arduino is a clone, which means that this sign is not built in the original factory. The only difference between the original and the clones is that these Arduinos are cheaper. All components and circuits are also identical (except that on this version the USB driver has been replaced by the CH340).
