Infrared Ball AREXX IRB-35

This ball is made of colored transparent plastic and contains inside 20 IR-transmitter diodes.

The IR-diodes can transmit continuous as well as also pulsed infrared light. In this way it becomes easy for the robots to locate the ball.

Alternatively to locating the ball through the diodes, it can also be detected and followed by the blue color (e.g. with a camera).

The ball contains a small ATTiny micro-controller for controlling the diodes.

Ideal for robotic football and compatible with Robocup Junior.
